Interview with Puzuzu

For those of you who don't know (and I doubt there are many of you) Puzuzu is the creator and webmaster of the long running occult-oriented site SpellsandMagic.com, and has become an icon in the alternative and/or religious community both online and off. Though to the common man he may have an intimidating exterior, he has actually proven to be both a very friendly and patient guy, and has granted me the opportunity to interview him. During this interview we discover Puzuzu's views on religion, the current state of humanity, and his take on everything from religious drug use to cloning for medical purposes:

First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to participate in this interview with me. I'm sure you are quite the busy person so before we start, may I ask in general what you've been up to lately? Any new projects or endeavors?
I have been debating on whether 2 write a book or not and exactly what 2 write about.
My main endeavors would be seeking a greater "Thrill". I am an Adrenaline Junkie. I need to do high risk things or things that will scare me. But scary things really don't scare me... they make me excited and get my blood pumping. Even if I am Out of body and end up in the astral pits.... I find it the adventure of a lifetime. What I am planning next is a more radical flesh hook Suspension, something much more painful than the last. This will put my mind 2 the test.

From the varied content held in your web site, you seem like a pretty diverse individual. Would you say you are occult-oriented or something else?
Absolutely..... Every aspect of the Occult has become part of my life in some way. It is mostly all I think about.

How long have you been involved in the occult or magic?
Since I was 15 and became awakened 2 the fact that there was more 2 life and the universe than the Bible told me. From that moment on I studied and read every book on the Occult I could get my hands on. And during those years there were not as many books available as there are 2day.

How did you get started and how long did it take you to find the answers you needed?
One day when I was 15 I had a strange urge to read about pyramids. I was obsessed with them. This later led to me finding out about my past lives in Egypt.
To this day I am still searching for some answers. Most of my questions of why and how we got here have been answered, but there are a couple things I still need 2 know.

Do you have a basic philosophy in regards to religion and everyday life?
Well I believe in Jesus and I believe that we were created by the Creator Gods... Enki and Enlil who are both of the Reptilian Race. I know that were just a genetic experiment. There is no loving caring god like the Bible states. This god From the Bible, Yahweh also known as Enlil, was a brutal blood-thirsty renegade god struggling for power and in competition with his half Brother Enki, also known as Lucifer. If there was a compassionate loving god...then why are children born deformed? No, not because of our damn sins. It is because the gods did not perfect their DNA experiment in making man. As far as Jesus goes, I believe him 2 belong to another race, the Pleiadians, who are of light and harmony. I myself am from the same race of beings.

What are some of the sources you used to find this information?
Ancient Sumerian texts that were translated.

Do you have any religious or spiritual inspirations?
Archangel Michael is my inspiration along with Jesus. If it were not for Michael...I would have been dead long ago.

Living an alternative lifestyle in the Southeastern United States can prove challenging. Are your loved ones accepting of your chosen path?
Ha ha.....well. I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. There are so many assholes that live here. People are mean and not friendly, but they stay away from me.
My family accepts me and knows what I do but they think I am off my rocker sometimes for my knowledge is so advanced.

We are all perceived inaccurately from time to time. With that in mind, what do you think is the biggest misconception people gather of you?
Well not everyone agrees with my words and I do not wish 4 anyone 2 follow me. A lot of people write me and try 2 correct things on my site. For example: "You don't use the right colors on your Triangle of Solomon". I tell them "There are many different ways 2 do things and what works 4 me...works 4 me". What is right 4 one person may not be right 4 another. But some people get really mad if I do not go by there ways of thinking. They think the rules of the Occult were written in stone.

Do you have any advice for them to set the records straight?
Yes. Mind your own business and tend 2 your own life and not mine.

How do you feel about utilizing drugs to obtain a higher level of consciousness?
Why I have never done drugs..."cough cough"...ha. I think it is great sometimes.
I am not talking about getting high just to get high. I am talking about doing it to reach the Spiritual Realms. I must say I use absinthe, the high grade absinthe, to get where I need 2 be. No it is not a drug, it is a poison. Good ol' wormwood oil. I would have to say that mushrooms are the best thing in the world. Yet it has been 20 years since I did that. It is probably what awakened me to the Occult.

Are there any people, famous or none, alive or dead, that you think we should pay attention to?
Crowley.

How do you feel about the controversy surrounding medical technology and cloning?
Hell ya. I think we should definitely play God. Why? Because we are all God. Besides, our government has secret bases where they have been doing that for years along side ETs in genetics and creating human/alien hybrids.

Overall, do you think the state of humanity is getting better or worse?
Much worse. Every country is power hungry and all governments are evil bastards. The amount of pedophiles out there sickens me, especially here in Florida.
The fact that you can send money to help starving people and know that your money will never reach pisses me off too.

Have you encountered the prophecies of 2012? If so what is your take on it?
No one knows 4 sure, but I believe that is when Planet X (Nibirru) returns and throws us off our Axis. Then most of us will die. Some will be picked up by motherships by several different races of beings...some good and some bad. Say your prayers.

What is your opinion on the current state of the environment?
I do not believe all this bullshit about climate warming. Yes it happens naturally and always has, but people are blowing it out of proportion.

On a more basic level, what do you like to do for entertainment?
Drinking, watching women dance for me and going out for fine Dining.

Do you have any books you recommend to readers interested in occult or religious knowledge?
The Gospel of Judas, Children of the Matrix and Modern Magick. I could list so many that I like.

Do you recommend any other resources, i.e. web sites, places like museums, or anything of that nature?
Well most of the places I recommend are on my links page. There are so many. My favorite is WeatherWars.info.

What are your future plans for Spells and Magic?
To expand much, much more when I get the free time. There is just not enough time in the day.

And for yourself?
To travel more abroad. To go back to Egypt and if the god damn war weren't going on my ass would be in Iraq. The Sumerian Occult history there is so Deep. I believe the real reason we are there is for our government to find a hidden stargate. Most people overlook the fact that that is the area where the Ggod Enlil and Enki were based with Space Stations eons ago.

Do you have any good advice or anything else you would like to say to the readers?
Yes. Read every book you can get your hands on. Never stop learning. Realize that you are God incarnate! Remember that all mainstream religions are part of a control system to keep your ass in the Matrix. Get out of the Matrix!

Thank you, Puzuzu, for taking the time to state your standing on these issues and topics, and hopefully in the future we can get some updates on both you and the site to see how things are going. Before we part, do you have anything else to say to the public that hasn't been covered?
No, I think that's about it. I enjoyed answering your questions and I must say they were good ones!

How to Banish A Strigoi

Romania will probably be touched on a lot in this log, because even in present day extreme measures are taken to both deter and evoke demonic or otherwise evil aspects in the everyday life of the Romanian. This particular post is about the strigoi, the beings from whom I adopted my name, and a ritual often performed in an effort to banish them.

The strigoi are in encyclopedia terms the undead, both spirits and physical forms, that rise from the grave to seek vengeance or otherwise haunt the countryside, feasting on either the life force or actual flesh and blood of its victims. The Romanian engage in the following practice to rid the burdened of the strigoi:

There are a few variations on this ritual depending on region and oral tradition, but the basics remain the same: The suspected deceased is exhumed by the victimized with more often than not a holy man present, for protection I suppose, and more often than not without consent from the dead man's family. The victims then cut out the heart and burn it to a crisp, then grind it into a fine powder. The powder is then mixed with a few ingredients including water, maybe oil, and often alcohol. Finally the concoction is heated to a near boil to make sure the powder is soaked and evaporated into the other ingredients, and a cup is passed between the victims who proceed to drink the brew of powdered heart.

Today only rural areas of Romania practice this, and even then it isn't very often the dead rise. Even though modernized parts of Romania no longer practice acts of this nature, urban and rural alike still both believe and fear these beings and take superstitious measures to evade their attention.

Quantum Physics vs. Religion

Every religion states that god is beyond our ability to comprehend it yet we put him in sandals and a robe, or some derivative thereof. Humans have created god in their own image, and I believe this is done in an effort to bring him closer to us, or to better understand the unfathomable. Therefor, when we reach different understandings of god conflict ensues.

Although many people believe that science and religion are at odds, they are in fact one in the same. Religion was once our science, now science has become our religion. Quantum physics suggests we exist beyond our ability to perceive ourselves and are limited to what we do perceive. This means that we cannot sense the energy that surrounds us, nor the souls that inhabit every body that surrounds you along with your own, but this doesn’t mean they do not exist. In other words, when you close your eyes the world does not go away. Many scientists suggest this theory may very well explain and/or confirm the existence of souls.

Humanity is laden with flaw, but from a positive view one might say our flaws are merely our separation from each other, our distinguishing characteristics. Our flaws are our humanity. I find it perplexing that people with beliefs different from most are considered insane, when mainstream religion is no more provable as truth. It seems that the more people that believe something, the more right it becomes. On that note I’d like to ask, what is the difference between religion and insanity – is it how close we think we are to god? And who are any of us to draw that line in the first place?

Many religions suggest that we are made from god, and even that we are each pieces of god and as one consciousness but different bodies we thrive and view the world from billions of different perspectives. If this is the case, we are god’s eyes and ears. God’s emotions, god’s drive, god’s ambition. This, I believe, is probable if you consider that god did create us in his own image. If so, perhaps we can understand god by better understanding ourselves.

The Other Side

Death...The final frontier.

Okay enough of that. Every religion supports a belief in some kind of afterlife. Luckily for you atheists, you no longer have to trudge through the hardships of life working for thirty years just to ultimately be reduced to worm food. Science now has an explanation for you.

A few years ago scientists discovered what they've dubbed the "shadow" dimension, one parallel to our own that consists of an energy replica of every last animate entity on our planet. It is also considered by many white coats to be the fourth dimension. And here's the shocker: the concrete dimension we've grown to know and love makes up less than one percent of our universe. This includes all matter such as planets and everything contained therein - us included. So, if our dimension is completely replicated but accounts for only one percent of all existence, what is the shadow dimension replicating with the other ninety nine percent? The fourth dimension is said to include dimensions one through four, including placement, space, depth, and the fourth, time. But to spare you the headache of quantum physics (yes, this is quantum physics), I'll write an article on the science and what it means to us at another time.

At any rate, the Shadow Dimension contains energy duplicates of everything, both parallel and intersecting. This means you exist twice, and according to Einstein energy can not be destroyed, only altered. The outcome? Science has discovered the human soul, fated to forever perpetuate based on constant change and the raw dynamics of energy.

Healers

I was getting a spiritual cleansing from my friend Auntie Lisa (a very legit and highly powerful voodoo priestess) when she told me I was a healer and to research "hot hands". I had a problem with Google when all I got in terms of results was a bunch of ads for warm napkins sold for roughly 50 cents at random gas stations. Eventually, I came into a fair amount of information.

First off, let me note that the book "Hot Hands Healing" is a bunch of malarchy. Why do I say that? Because, you can't teach innate ability. Think of it like blindness; your eyes either work, or they don't. The book suggests that the ability to heal can be taught by buying the book (of course) and maybe participating in a few workshops. You'd save a fortune just by accepting your limitations. I'm not saying you can't, but I am saying that you can't "learn how" - it just happens. Know this, I will not apologize for these statements. Not everybody is a healer, not everybody can heal. Some people can heal to a certain degree but are not healers, I'm talking about a type of soul, not an isolated trait. But don't feel bad, there are many other innate abilities out there you may possess, and I will touch on them as time goes by. Besides, I never wanted to be a healer, I'd rather have necromancy any day of the week.

Moving on, "hot hands" is a term used loosely to describe warm energy that is output through someone's hands and can be used to heal the sick, stressed or mentally disturbed, depending on the healer. The nature of the warmth does not behave like typical body heat as it rises off of the palm of the hand and can be felt 7 inches away or more. For those of you who can see energy, a healer's hands may be orange or yellow, whereas the rest of their energy body will be a color on the other end of the spectrum, more often than not blue.

Healers are naturally drawn to comfort and it is for this reason that the share a lot of personality traits. They typically like cool colors, the night air, they dress comfortably, and have a ridiculous number of fluffy pillows (or some equivalent thereof). Seventy percent of healers sleep a lot, and when they're not sleeping their activity level is dependent entirely on their exposure to raw energy. Animals are drawn to them, especially dogs, the most empathic of the animal kingdom (minus the yippy ones, who share more traits with rodents than wolves).

All healers have empathy, which is the innate ability to sense emotion and disposition in others, human and animal alike. From an evolutionary standpoint, it's probably so they can sense sickness in order to heal it. Let me rephrase: all healers have empathy, but not all empathics are healers. However, if you are an empath, I strongly encourage you further look into healers, as you may very well be one. Empathy in healers is a very good thing because though overwhelming for them at times, they are extremely dangerous without it. Healers also have the ability to harm. They can give sickness just as easily as they can take it away, and the impact of feeling what the subject feels prevents malice from the healer.

Test Your Ability

Though healing is a natural ability, concentration can both focus and amplify the impact and end result of the effort. The next time you encounter a sick person (start small, like someone with a cold) stand near them and visualize red energy around them. This is the sickness. Now imagine the red energy slowly changing to green energy (or blue, everything is relative with energy work). When the red energy has completely dissipated, you're done. Yes, it is that simple. You're energy does the work for you, all you have to do is focus it.

Hand of Glory

A while back I traded my modern wicca-inspired rites in favor of works of raw energy and studies of the old ways and I find this one to be particularly fascinating. I could be posting a lot of magic(k) as I am well versed in many areas of the concept, but I've come to understand the basis for every ritual of that nature is the same - intent and will, and these are things that can't be explained no matter that people have tried to explain it. In my opinion you can or you can't, simple as that. In other words, expect little more than ritual posts of the following nature from me. On with the Hand of Glory:

Though the rite can be traced back to early 14th century Europe, I get the feelings it's much older than the best evidence conveys. Back in the day it was believed the hand of a newly hanged man held mystical powers and was incredibly lucky. So as you can imagine, when someone fucked up and was strung from a tree thieves were standing in line with a hatchet to chop of the hand and either sell it or harvest it for personal use. More often than not, it was the thief himself who cultivated the power of the Hand of Glory by lighting the fingers on fire, rendering whomever he chose motionless for as long as the hand was lit. Surprisingly no preparation was needed in making the hand flammable, as human fat burns easy - ask any mortician with an an urn and an oven. Burnable fat is also the reason why the hand had to be fresh. Too bad people don't get hanged anymore, otherwise instant power would be ripe for the pickin'.

Another superstition like it is one in which the tooth of a hanged man was charged and could be used for many ritualistic purposes, though these were often extracted and cultivated by women.

The Penanggalan

It was oh, ninth grade I suppose, when I was actually bored enough to utilize the library of my humble high school in my oh-so-Baptist hometown. I didn't expect to find anything of interest but to my surprise the school actually gave in to the 'freedom of religion' schtick and provided the holy bible, and according to law a few other less checked-out books. One of them was called The Picture Book of Devils, Demons and Witchcraft, and it was in this book that I discovered the glory that is the penanggalan. Needless to say, I never returned it.

Originating in the Malay Peninsula, the penanggalan is a rather gruesome breed of vampire. There are many explanations of what causes the creation of such a
monstrosity, but one of the most prominent is the belief that it is the detached head of a woman who died during childbirth, that in her madness ravages the region in search of blood and flesh. The penanggalan is always depicted as a severed and floating female head with entrails and bit of bone hanging from the neck, as well as the heart.

According to oral tradition, the creature appears as a normal woman during the daytime, and it is only at night that the head detaches from the body and perches on trees or roofs of houses of women who are in labor, waiting to drink the blood left by afterbirth. The women who have been preyed upon almost always contract a fatal wasting disease and die soon after. The penanggalan is also referred to as the penanggal, and in the Philippines, the manananggal.

How to Test A Psychic

"....I sense someone in the audience yes....you! You know someone named John."

"Oh my god! My neighbor's cousin's husband's name is John!"

Come on, people. It seems these days all you need to be a 'real psychic' are a few EMF meters, some frumpy clothing and maybe endorsement from Oprah (yeah, I'm talking to you Sylvia Brown and trim those fucking nails). For those positively obsessed with both proving and disproving psychics, I respect you. People can hold claim to anything that can't be concretely debunked. Sure, it can't be proven. But it can't be disproven either. With that said let's move on.

You'd be surprised to know that a lot of ghost hunters are in fact skeptics on task to dispel some misconceptions. Whatever their intention, ghost hunters are scientists, and use science to provide us with something before them unheard of - evidence. They use many tools but for this you'll probably only need the EMF Detector.

EMF is an acronym for electromagnetic field detector, and is used to...well...detect electromagnetic fields. The significance behind ghosts and electromagnetism can be explained by Einstein's theory that energy can never be extinguished, only transformed. This means that the energy we produce everyday that doctors detect using CAT Scans and EEG maps doesn't just dissipate when we die - it has to go somewhere. Whether this energy is we ourselves or just remnants of us is up for debate, but one thing is for sure - it's there, and EMF detectors can read it. The EMF Detector pictured can be purchased at Ghost Mart for about 100 bucks but they run as cheap as 30 dollars. To me it looks crappy for that price but I guess looks aren't everything.

Here is what you do: You take your psychic friend and your EMF detector and go somewhere that is notorious for hauntings that Suzy Psychic-pants has not been to or heard of. Have her walk around and point in the general direction of spots she deems high in activity. Run the meter around it and if it goes off, don't stop there. Keep looking. Base her credibility on the number of hits and misses. Scientists are happy, psychics are happy. Everyone is happy.

Granted, you cannot rely on a machine any more than you can rely on flawed man, for machines are the flawed fruits of man's labor. In a world built from the hands of the flawed human race you can only survive in certainty by taking from life only what you know to be true and leaving the rest behind. That is all for now.
